The historic defense tower Torre de s'Estalella on Mallorca's untouched south coast was built in the 16th century to defend against pirate raids. Directly in the rocky surroundings of this old viewpoint lies the Cova de s'Estalella, an exciting sea cave with access to crystal-clear water. Today, a popular coastal hiking trail away from mass tourism leads to this quiet spot, which is said to have even served as a hiding place for smugglers in the past.
