Hiking

On the Johannisberg, at a height of 282 meters, stands the landmark of the district town of Altenkirchen, the Bismarck Tower, which was built between 1914 and 1922 in honor of the first German Chancellor, Prince Otto von Bismarck. The imposing stone structure with a lighting option at the top of the tower and a height of 14 meters is used as a viewing platform.
