In the woods near Lenta in the rice fields of the Vercelli area, between Rovasenda, Carpignano Sesia and Gattinara, Italy has what is probably the world's largest depot of armored vehicles which remained secret for years.
Up to 3,000 armored vehicles have been accumulated in the Army Tracked and Armored Vehicles Park in Lenta, which Italy has not gotten rid of over the years. In recent years the Army has started a dismantling and disposal plan.
