The trail at the Smart View Recreation Area is a loop trail that circles around the entire property boundary. The trail is dirt singletrack, and it features a couple lookout areas along with some historical structures on the trail. Considered an "original recreation area" on the Blue Ridge Parkway, this area is full of history and primitive recreational amenities.
