To plan your visit, you can start this hike from the Perrères area. If you are driving, parking is available there. For those who prefer not to walk the full return journey, a convenient option is to park at Perrères and then catch a bus back to Valtournenche from Falegnon. Always check local transport schedules before you go, especially for bus services which may vary seasonally.
This trail offers a glimpse into the region's past, particularly through the historic tunnel which was integral to the construction of the Goillet lake and the Les Perreres pumpstation.
