Percy Quin State Park has a load of amentities and is only a small fee to enter. The park includes a nature trail that is nestled up to the waters of Lake Tangipahoa. This section of trail follows the banks while crossing bridges and boardwalks.
The trail becomes less maintained the further you journey from the trailhead. While being a bit more primitive at times, this trail offers a wilderness experience (for half) and an easy, paved fitness trail (for half).
