The medieval chapel was demolished at the beginning of the 18th century to make way for the current parish church, the foundation stone of which was laid in 1711; the new building was completed in 1757.
Between 2006 and 2007 the interior of the church was renovated and on August 7, 2012 the parish church was consecrated by the Bishop of Verona Giuseppe Zenti.
