Hiking

The Bath of Aphrodite is a small natural grotto under an old fig tree. Water flows steadily down the rock face and splashes into the wonderful, shady Bath of Aphrodite. A beautiful place.

There is nothing going on before 10 a.m....the size of the parking lot suggests that it will be busier later.

According to legend, Aphrodite bathed in the small grotto, which is located under a mighty fig tree. To get there, you walk a few minutes from the parking lot through the beautiful botanical garden. Bathing in the grotto is forbidden, but benches invite you to rest in the shade.
