At times quite steep, this partly secured trail takes us in about 2 hours to a saddle above the Gerstbergalm. I needed 3 hours for the 3 km and 700 hm. Surefootedness and hiking boots are required. I recommend doing the tour uphill. Downhill, the steps are often very high. Danger of falling at about 500 meters.
