Cycling
The highlight is on the Hainichlandweg (hiking trail) between the National Park area and the Mühlhäuser Stadtwald. The path is well signposted (red circle on a white background), but partly covered by leaves of some years and therefore not easily recognizable, probably it is also little used. There are some muddy spots on this trail as well as short, steep runs that are more suitable for MTB's.
