The Elbe crossing 2 is a 380 kV three-phase overhead line crossing of the Elbe that was built between 1976 and 1978 and went into operation in 1978. Two support masts (designed as barrel masts) 227 m high, one on the island of Lühesand and one on the Schleswig-Holstein mainland near Hetlingen. These support masts are considered to be the highest high-voltage pylons in Europe.

Elbe Crossing 2 is a 380-kV three-phase overhead line on the Elbe River, built between 1976 and 1978. It was commissioned in 1978. The overhead line connects the Wilster switchgear station with the Dollern substation. Designed for four three-phase circuits with an operating voltage of 380 kV, the line crossing complements the Elbe Crossing, which was commissioned in 1962. Tennet TSO is the operator of the Elbe Crossing.
