PICTURE TRAIL STADECKEN-ELSHEIM
ONE LANDSCAPE - THREE VIEWS
The painters Annemarie Kijaszek and Britta Jung and the photographer Thomas Brenner have lived in Stadecken-Elsheim for several decades and are inspired by the perception of their immediate surroundings.
The paintings and photographs - although no people can be seen - are also a portrait of the winegrowers and farmers who have worked the land for many generations and contributed to its honest, unmistakable appearance.

The Picture Trail is a permanent open-air exhibition that winds through the picturesque landscape around Stadecken-Elsheim. At twelve stations, two painters (Britta Jung & Annemarie Kijaczek) and a photographer (Thomas Brenner) present their works – each adapted to the surroundings. The motto: "One Landscape, Three Views."
The works of art are enclosed in lightweight steel frames and blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings – almost as if they had always been part of the landscape.
