Hiking
The 120-meter-high stainless steel needle has stood in the middle of O'Connell Street since 2003 and is illuminated at night. It stands on the site of Nelson's Column, which was blown up by renegade IRA members on March 8, 1966. It was supposed to be completed by the turn of the millennium, but was delayed by three years.
