The Aalschokker was acquired as an "exhibit" by the Ried community in 1991 and has since been located in a branch on the Old Rhine. The unique "fishing monument" can only be visited with prior reservation. Here you can learn a lot from the Upper Rhine eel fishery, simply worth seeing.
