Round Lake is one of the many lakes in this popular hiking area of Tahoe National Forest. With a small detour off the main trail, you'll easily make it to the shore of Round Lake. It might not be the biggest lake in the area but with the dramatic backdrop of rocks, it definitely provides wonderful scenery.
