The Bregenz Lake Brünzler is a symbolic figure for the citizens of Bregenz who are maliciously said to secretly dispose of their wastewater into the lake. The Honorary Brünzler, a small bronze version, is awarded annually to individual citizens for special services to the city of Bregenz.
