Hiking

The current church was built in 1764/65 by Sebastian Regner from Sulzbach. Until 1922 the church was also used by the Protestant parish. The repeated change of rule also led to a change of denomination. Freihung was Catholic until 1544. Due to the church ordinance of Duke Ottheinrich von der Pfalz Neuburg, to which Freihung temporarily belonged, the place had to change to the Lutheran faith. markt-freihung.de/page_3_7.php
