Embark on an easy hike along the Burch Woods Trail, a 3.3-mile (5.3 km) route that takes about 1 hour and 27 minutes to complete. You will gain 274 feet (83 metres) as you explore varied terrain, transitioning from open fields to quiet forested hollows. The path winds among large trees, including impressive red oaks, offering a pleasant and serene outdoor experience. Keep an eye out for the historic Stone Train Bridge, a notable landmark along the way.

When planning your visit, you will find convenient parking at the trailhead, along with a map to guide you. A temporary restroom is also available for your comfort. Please be aware that the Burch Woods Trail is a protected natural area, meaning trail running, cycling, and bringing dogs are not permitted. These restrictions are in place to help preserve the local wildlife habitats.

This trail is set within Edwin Warner Park, a significant natural space where you might spot various wildlife species. The focus on preserving its natural state makes it a unique destination for hikers. Remember to use the provided boot-brush at the trailhead; this simple step helps prevent the spread of invasive plant species and protects the trail's delicate ecosystem for everyone to enjoy.
