The Bismarck memorial is located on the church square in front of the Protestant church. It was built in 1896 and moved to its current location in 1936 due to road construction.
It is interesting to note that the construction of the Wermsdorf Bismarck memorial took place shortly after the dismissal (1890) of the first German Chancellor.
