Hiking
The November pogrom took place here on November 10, 1938: SA and SS men destroyed Jewish businesses, threw inventory and ritual objects onto the street and burned them. The prayer room on the upper floor of a house was desecrated. Many Jews were able to hide, some suffered violence.
Later deportations: Most of the surviving Jews were deported and murdered (e.g. in Majdanek). Some fled (like Simon Schwarzweiß to Argentina).
