A beautifully remote feeling trail in the west of Cooper Lake State Park's South Sulphur Unit. A hike around the Lonesome Dove Loop is quite a long one but it rewards with gorgeous nature. It can be combined with the Little Bluestem Loop to create a thorough exploration of the Buggy Whip Trail System.
