The corresponding inscription on the memorial reads "AUBEL À SES HÉROS" - "MORTS POUR LA PATRIE", died for the fatherland. The names of the fallen soldiers as well as the names of the survivors are written on the column. In front of the column stands a Belgian soldier holding the flag and blowing the horn (for attack?). Behind the soldier's sculpture you can see a cannon barrel and a wheel.
