The Bannwald has a total size of approx. 16 ha. It is located in the Sinsheim city forest about 1 km south of Sinsheim-Dühren. It is bordered to the north and west by the "Langen Plan", to the south by the "Angellocher Weg" and to the east by the border to the forest of the Unterländer Evangelischer Kirchenfonds. It includes part of Division 11 of District 1 "Big Forest".
