Well done to anyone who manages to cycle up the full incline from High Peak junction to the nice seat at the top with a lovely view. The incline is a constant gradient so no chance for the rest at any point. In autumn there are a lot of leaves and nuts on the ground which makes cycling even harder. I failed after about two thirds of the slope!
Great way though to gain the height and then travel further along the High Peak trail.

Steep long slog! Hard work on a full sus, slightly lesser on a gravel bike. Totally worth it for the goodness at the top though!

Starts hard and only gets harder, After you exit the tunnel there's a few small steps that help to prevent erosion to navigate and once you get to the tree cover the gradient eases off a little bit only for it to ramp back up again as you get to the gate at the top
