The lighthouse of Breskens from 1868 is the oldest still existing cast-iron lighthouse in the Netherlands and one of the most iconic buildings in West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. This octagonal, black-and-white painted tower was built in 1866-1867 to a design by the Dutch architect Quirinus Harder.
