Built in the 14th century, this bridge over the Diveria stream is clearly visible from the Sempione state road and is located halfway between Varzo and Crevoladossola.

The stone "new bridge" over the Torrente Diveria was built around 1300. Next to it you can still see the foundations of a Roman bridge from the time of Emperor Augustus. Given these 2,000 year old remains, you can understand why the 700 year old bridge is still called "new". We spent a wonderful break on it in breathtaking surroundings.
