In memory of mining in Püttlingen, an open-air museum was set up in Grubenstrasse in August 2011 in front of the entrance to the Viktoria tunnel, which was opened in 1901/2 and connects the Viktoria III facility in Engelfangen with the main facility in Püttlingen. In the middle of the listed ensemble of the former Engelfangen surface facility, the work of the miner underground is vividly presented with the help of large machines and equipment such as drilling vehicles, cutting machines, wagons, locomotives, reels, cable pulleys, etc., from the extraction of coal on site to its transport above ground.
