Tolbaños de Arriba is the highest village in the province of Burgos, at 1,257 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Sierra de la Demanda. Its mountainous setting makes it an ideal spot for hiking and enjoying the high-altitude landscapes. The village retains its traditional character and, since 2007, hosts the Demandafolk festival, dedicated to traditional music, every first weekend in August. It's a perfect place to combine nature, local culture, and fresh mountain air.
