Alpe Motta is a locality which, despite being closer to Madesimo, falls within the municipality of Campodolcino, in Lombardy, in the Rhaetian Alps, at an altitude of approximately 1727 m above sea level. Here comes the Campodolcino funicular, which serves the facilities of the Madesimo ski area. On site is the statue of the Madonna of Europe, protector of skiers, covered in gold. In summer it is a popular place for cyclists, there are more shelters and restaurants.
