The Fort Vikor-Emmanuel is a huge building complex that stretches up the slope in several stages. The whole area is freely accessible, most of the rooms can be entered, there are only restrictions due to a few construction sites. Several via ferratas start at the lowest level through the embrasures of the fortress, down into the Gorge de L'Arc.
