Hiking

There is a car park at the castle pond in Rottleberode. This can be used well as a start / finish - point of this round trip. The track is easy except for the last 100m where the climb is a little steeper. What is special about the Grasburg or the ruins of the former chapel is its unique location on a mountain spur, surrounded by a picturesque beech forest.
