The reason seems to be that it is not regulated and rescue can only be done by helicopter.
From personal experience…. I can say that it is not for everyone, there are hints of via ferrata and at the end a rope descent/climb to reach the beach. 😁

You can expect to complete it in about 1 hour and 54 minutes. As you hike, you will traverse lush Mediterranean scrub, including strawberry trees and pines, and walk along limestone cliffs. The highlight is the panoramic viewpoint at Passo del Lupo, offering magnificent vistas of the iconic Due Sorelle beach and the Conero coastline.
When planning your visit, you can often start this loop tour from the Sirolo cemetery or Bar Belvedere. While many sections are easily accessible, some parts require sure-footedness and sturdy shoes. Be aware that the path leading down to Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle from Passo del Lupo is officially closed for safety reasons, and access to the beach is forbidden by land. The beach can only be reached by sea.
This trail offers a unique opportunity to experience the dramatic convergence of mountain and sea, showcasing the diverse flora of the Mediterranean scrub. Monte Conero is the only significant elevation on the Adriatic coast from Trieste to Gargano, making its geological formations quite special. The route is part of an extensive network of 18 hiking trails on Monte Conero, providing well-marked paths for your adventure.
