The old bridge over the Zwota, just before the confluence with the Ohře at the point where - according to legend - the town of Sokolov was founded, is no longer officially used. A new road crossing and a new railway crossing have made it superfluous. However, pedestrians still occasionally venture across the dilapidated bridge.
