The Tous reservoir or swamp is a very nice and quiet place but it hides a tragic story. Built to protect the lower area of the Ribera del Xuquer after the great flood of October 1982, the reservoir hides the ruins of the old town of Tous, which, depending on the level of its waters, can lead to seeing the bell tower and the tower of the old church.
