Mountain biking
While the gate may be mostly closed with a red no trespassing sign, everybody from the Orinda/Lafayette/Wilder area hikes or lifts their bikes over here to go between Skyline/Sibley and the trails to the east. The fire road is in good, actively used gravel condition. Only near the bottom there is some runoff erosion in a steep section.
