Hiking

The brick bell tower of the Pietrasanta Cathedral that flanks the Collegiata is an unfinished work, as the project involved the marble cladding. Built between the end of the 15th and the beginning of the 16th century, it is about 36 meters high. At the entrance, a masterpiece of a helical-shaped staircase, one of a kind. The works were directed by the Florentine sculptor and architect Donato Benti.
