Hiking
The medicinal herb gardens in the spa park of Bad Wörishofen vividly illustrate the long history of European herbal medicine.
Five differently designed gardens commemorate, among others, Walahfrid Strabo, Hildegard von Bingen, Leonhart Fuchs, and Sebastian Kneipp.
Many of the medicinal plants growing here were recommended by Kneipp for teas, tinctures, and other applications.
Signposted beds explain the plants and their traditional use, making the tour particularly interesting.
