Hiking
The "Anholter bear forest" is located in the Biotopwildpark Anholter Switzerland and was built in 1999.
Four brown bears and five collar bears live on a total area of 2.5 hectares.
All bears came from bad husbandry conditions and were rescued by the IBF in cooperation with the German Animal Welfare Federation.
S.D. Carl-Philipp Prince of Salm-Salm agreed to provide the 2.5-acre forest, within the game park, for the bears.

Hiking
Especially the bears, but also all other animals are great to look at.
In addition, the animals have more spout than in the zoo.
The bears are unfortunately only until the end of 2019 in Abholter Park.
