The Sint-Pieterskerk was designed by three architects from Kuurn: Piet Devos, Marcel Holvoet and Jaak Vandenweghe. The church looks very modern and certainly has architectural value. The whole building is conceived as a tent in two parts. This creates a very special incidence of light. Be sure to take a look inside the church. In the middle you will find the main altar in the shape of Peter's fishing boat. After all, Saint Peter is the patron saint of the parish.
