Great link-up from the the A628 to the Transpennine Trail. It's a good way to connect the bridleways around Langett reservoir with the TPT, just take care crossing the busy main road. From south to north the track starts on a paved road, then once through the gate it follows the edge of a field. Although it looks very muddy, plastic matting has been installed along almost its full length so the mud never gets very deep and it's very rideble. When the matting ends, it's a bit rocky and muddy but onlt for 20m or so.
