Evangelical (!) Church in Winden. A Baroque hall church with a late Gothic tower stump. The first mention of a chapel in Winden, like the first mention of the community, dates back to 1253. Around 1500, a tower was built next to the chapel (today's tower stump). In the 16th century, Winden, and with it the chapel, embraced the Reformation. Starting in 1660, Protestant Huguenots settled in Winden and once again established a Reformed congregation.
