The suburban church of St. Cyriaci (also St. Cyriacus) is located on Heinrich-Julius-Strasse in southern Groningen. Dating from the 12th or 13th century, it has a rectangular tower with a Romanesque arched portal from 1320. Also of note are the ornate 15th-century polyptych and a 16th-century Last Supper painting and crucifix. These three churches belong to the evangelical church district of Halberstadt.

The church was probably built in the 12th century as a parish church in the village of Sudergröningen.
It was subordinate to the Gernrode Abbey and was dedicated to Saint Cyriacus.
The first mention was made in 1320 because the church tower was renewed.
