Northwest of the small village of Übersfeld, the Catholic Church of St. Wolfgang was built in the 14th century. It was renovated in 1516, but was no longer used from 1542 after the sovereign, Ottheinrich von der Pfalz, Count Palatine of Pfalz-Neuburg, converted to Protestantism. Since 1623 at the latest, the once much-visited pilgrimage church has been a ruin, of which parts of the north and west sides are still preserved.
Since 1958 there has been a Mariengrotte between the remains of the wall and invites visitors to linger.
