Mountain biking

A few steps away from the path and at reduced speed (i.e. not thundering through the heather at 20 km / h plus) you can admire the nature of the heather with heather and small trees ... :-)

Mountain biking

... even (but not only!) next to the convoy path, which is technically boring anyway.

Mountain biking

Bicycle tours to the Palinger Heide are possible from Palingen, Herrnburg and Lauen. Bridges over the Landgraben create connections to the city of Lübeck. The Landgraben is the border between the states of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein, formerly a border area, today a green belt. The best time for colorful views is when the heather blossoms in early August.
