Baroque parish church from 1735–37, apparently built according to a design by the renowned Liechtenstein architect Tomáš Vojtěch Budil (?). During repairs in 1894–97, a pseudo-Baroque prismatic tower with adjacent extensions was added to the western façade by local master builder Karel Dušek. The church's appearance before reconstruction began in 1889 is captured in the old picture with the Marian column. The church was repaired in 2008–09, and the façade in 2014–15.

Church of St. Andělů Strážný, together with the castle complex, is the most important landmark of the city. The Baroque building, rebuilt in a distinctly non-Baroque style, has interesting and valuable interior decoration from the period immediately after the church was built.
