"Lužánky" is the oldest and largest park in Brno.
The Lužánky Landscape Park was founded in 1786 as one of the first public parks in Central Europe and the first in the Czech lands. In the center is a pavilion in the neo-renaissance style by the Viennese architect Ludwig Förster from 1855, where balls, concerts, celebrations and various exhibitions take place to this day. Today the pavilion, also known as the “Casino”, is primarily used as a children's leisure center.

Hiking
Luzanky park is a cultural and fitness hotspot based on my experiences. In the summer there's many open air lessons (private) taking place there. Examples include: Yoga, Martial arts, music lessons. There's multiple pits for parents to bring their children. There's equipment for a street workout for the fitness freaks as well. Luzanky is often the site of many social events for foreigners, a nice place to meet people. If you jog, it's another great reason to come here and meet other joggers.
