    Between city administration and hoarding

On a wall plinth above the entrance to the underground car park between the city administration and Horten are seven blocks of stone, arranged side by side, standing vertically and not directly connected to one another. Their partly rounded edges and the slightly polished surfaces with protrusions and recesses encompass clearly defined volumes and cavities that result in a contrasting interplay between differently sized, open and closed shapes.

    Hiking

This work of art proves that problematic topics can be dealt with without relying solely on shock effects, mood-killers or accusations. The contextualization around the sculpture is definitely worth your time and will enrich your walk or hike in Hagen.

    Hiking

In Ferdinand David Park in downtown Hagen, right next to the "House for Children" of the Child Protection Association, you can find the sculpture "BalanceAkt-Kinderrechte" by the artist Alexander Parfeonov from Smolensk. It was erected there in 2010 and is intended to draw attention to the problem of children's rights in the world. At the same time, the Hagen Child Protection Association initiated a children's rights path made of steles.
