The oak pit lamp is reminiscent of coal mining under the Haard forest mountains. It reminds us of the many miners who worked hard to mine coal in the depths, but also of the eternal damage that mining has left in the landscape. This sculpture was also created by the chainsaw artist Georg Maurus from Hesse.
