Hiking

The most important station in today's Freital area was Potschappel station, which had the most connections to the coal mines in Freital. Only the opening of the Weißeritztalbahn in 1883 brought a significant increase in transport services in the station. The tracks were expanded and included seven standard gauge and four narrow gauge tracks.
