The Schöneberg Gasometer was built in 1913 as part of the municipal gasworks in Schöneberg and served for many decades to store town gas for Berlin. After the gasworks were decommissioned, the site developed into today's EUREF Campus, with the listed steel structure of the gasometer being preserved and now serving as a landmark of the location.

You can visit the gasometer during a public guided tour. You can find information about it here: euref-besucherdienst.de/gasometer-sky.
